Vasudhara Falls

Vasudhara Falls

  • This is one of best trekking place near Mana, place is so beautiful and so calm cannot be expressed in words. It's better to take your own food and water as nothing is available through out the route. Better to start early morning to catch the scenic view of the mountains and rain filled clouds. So much of fun if you are in group or single
  •

  •  Vasudhara Falls surging near the holy city of Badrinath is one of the most enchanting places to visit in Uttarakhand. This ravishing waterfall drops from a height of 400 feet about 122 metres above sea level
  • How can I write it
  • Amazing fantastic wonder super

  •  Wat a beautiful view of the most pure form of water gushhing down from top the himalayan cliff and becoming solid as it decends. Just the cool air passing thru your body and the only sound of the water... just amazing. Apart from the historic importance of this place the peace of mind you get here is just great...

On way to satopanth u will see this beautiful fall called vasudhara.. Around 6 km trek from mana the last Indian village

INDIA LAST VILLAGE MANA

INDIA LAST VILLAGE MANA

  •  Nothing to fancy about this place
  • only you can see mouth of saraswati river and "vyas pothi"
  • There is a Tea shop named "India's Last Tea Shop" which is much better attraction there.
  • It is nearby badrinath temple and good sneakout from there for a couple of hours.

  •  a great monolithic stone doubling as a bridge. Some marks seem to be hand and feet impressions of Bheem. A must visit at the origin of River Saraswati

Bheem Pul

Mana, Uttarakhand

Scenic place to visit. Drink a tea from the last restaurant in India. This place is few metres ahead of Manas village, the last village of India, in this direction, close to Badrinath temple.

  • These places made to firm beliefs what have we studied.its place where pandvas stayed in their last days before Swargarohan. source of Saraswati river, bheem gufa, vedvyas gufa and Ganesh gufa are places everyone must visit.

Chandrashila

Chandrashila.

I did this trekking in October, it is at 13k ft and quite steep from Tunganath. You will find mostly youngster crowd. The place is famous for Sunrise view and one can spot galaxy it sky is clear enough at night.
  • Amazing trek. Experience of lifetime. It's pretty tough but when you get at the top, it's worth the effort. The view is so pleasant you will feel like you're watching a movie scene. The clear blue sky and the mountains it's breathe taking.

Tungnath

Tungnath

Probably the most beautiful place I have visited ever. The temple, the surroundings, everything has got some power of its own. The scenic beauty while trekking is simply out of the world. It is 3.5km trek one way and bit difficult but then it is so much satisfying. Be slow and while walking enjoy the beauty.
  • Tracking was good. View from here was superb. Visited in the month of October. While tracking, your body temperature will increase but, if you'll take rest, within 1 minute, you'll feel cold. For green view, visit this place summer and for white view, you can visit this place between December and March.

  • Too good l, the feeling is divine and can't be expressed in words. Nature has so much to offer , the peace we get going away from the cities is more than enough to appreciate and love everything around us and that itself is religion.

The Buddha Temple

  • Peaceful place to go with someone and u will enjoy the prayer cylinders and that huge bell. That is quite far from company garden. if u plan to go there in evening should take rikshaw else u will not get any conveyance in the route. else go by foot as Mussoorie itself is a small place so better enjoy and increase the time and feel the tiredness will give u quite satisfaction .

  • Buddha Statue is at about 300-400m above the parking space. The statue is golden with hints of blue and black. The flags around the place are covered in messages written in Tibetic language.
  • A devine and peaceful place with an eye pleasing view.
  • But I found some youngesters drinking and smoking just about 50m away from the statue which they may consider "cool" but destroys the whole vibe of this place.
  • "Buddham sharadam Gatchami".

Mussoorie Gurdwara Sahib

  • Gurudwara with a beautiful view on one side and gandhi chowk and mall road on another side.
  • Enjoy the beautiful view with the blessings.
  • This Gurudwara is located in a great location, good view of valley. They feed people here 24/7 and 365 days a year. Everything is run by volunteers. They also organize community programs. It's really a place of worship wherein you can get peace by meditating and listening to Guruvani. Its on a hilltop in-between lush greenery and nature. The main prayer hall is big and clean. The Sikh community is very generous and contributes to the benefit of the community. A must visit.

Chandrabadni Temple Shrinagar Garwal

  1. Chandrabadni Temple.

The Chandrabadani Temple is dedicated to the Goddess of power. According to the legends, Lord Shiva while carrying torso of his consort Sati, accidentally dropped it here and her weapons got scattered all around the place. Thus, even today huge number of iron trishuls (tridents) and some old statues can be seen lying around the revered temple of Chandrabadani.

How to Reach.

By road, one can reach Jamnikhal which is about 32 km from Devprayag. From Jamnikhal it is a 3 km walk uphill to Chandrabadani Temple. Nearest railhead is at Rishikesh and nearest airport is Jolly Grant of Dehradun.

Chandrabadani

Location:About 10 km north of Kandi Khal, 22 km from Devprayag and 109 km from Narendra Nagar
Altitude:2, 277 meters ASL
Attractions:Chandrabadani Devi Temple
What To Do:Temple Visit ; Viewing snow capped Sirkanda; Kedarnath and Badrinath peaks
Best Time to Visit:June to October (avoid monsoon months)

Situated at the top of Chandrakut hill, this temple is one of the Shakti peeths. As the name suggests, chandrabadni, Goddess Shakti's torso fell on this place.
You have to climb on foot to the temple, a concrete path is there for the convenience. The view towards the destination is pristine, and as you ascend you can clearly see the Himalayan ranges clad in white sheets of snow. At the top there is a small temple and the cold breeze is constant there. At the bottom from where the temple stair starts vendors of puja samagri are there.

The only thing lacking there is a washroom near the premises and even if one is there that is in disgusting condition.

  • The best view from the top! Need to walk like 100+ stairs... However, it's worth reaching and having a pleasant view of the Shivalik range from top.
